My Favorite PC Games

My favorite PC games. I like King's Quest the old version. King's Quest 1, it's about Graham who needs to help the King of Daventry recover the lost treasures of the kingdom. I like it because the story is combined with fairy tales. Like in King's Quest II, there is Little Red Riding Hood, also Dracula. Etc. Next game that I like is The Sims, because its like a PC dollhouse game. I can create my own character design my house and control everything! Cool! I think we almost got all the expansion set. Sims vacation, Hot Date (this one is neat! you can set a date for your own Sims.ㅋㅋ) etc. Although I don't play games nowadays. I'm just online most of the time... My brother is the game expert not me ㅋ. I know every PC games because of him (Icewind Dale, Diablo, Starcraft, Warcraft, Counterstrike, SimCity, Myst etc.) And I have a little patience when it comes to playing PC games. If I can't finish the games I leave it to cheatmaster. I just type the codes and I'm done! ㅎㅎㅎ

I Love School!ㅋㅋ

Last month, my school gave me my diploma for finishing their English Proficiency & Speech Improvement course. I also finished (I think that was a year ago), their Effective English program. I'm not an English major graduate so I've decided to take up a course in English (my major is Psychology - Bachelor of Science major in Psychology). I chose, Thomson Education Direct, now known as Penn Foster Career School. Home study is more convenient than going to school. Especially for a person like me who goes to work everyday. Also, when I was an incoming junior in my university I took up Basic Mandarin. Really difficult... maybe, I should stick to Korean... at least It's easier to read and write, compared to Chinese. I look up to King Sejong!^^

Adventure in South Africa

It's been a year since my aunt left for South Africa (Malawi). She's a volunteer doctor (pediatrician and her specialization is neonatology - infants, I think). Yeah, its exciting there!!!. You've got to do battle with deadly mosquitoes... (malaria) and a large percentage of the people there are afflicted with HIV and AIDS. Volunteer doctors like her are unsung heroes there. I'm proud of her coz' I won't be able to do that.

Food Review: Kenny Roger's Roasters

Last pay day, my friend Cherrie and I went to the SM North Edsa. We went their because I promised that I'll buy her something. Then we decided to eat at Kenny Roger's. It's time to treat ourselves. The food there is really great. I love everything. Their chicken is so tasty. We ate spicy roasted chicken because the regular roast chicken wasn't available. We had to wait for a few minutes. I just ordered the spicy one because we're in a hurry. We ordered a set meal. It consists of rice, a piece of chicken, corn muffin (my favorite^^) and your choice of side dish (hot or cold). The drink isn't included you have to order it separately. We ordered Iced tea. Aside from the roasted chicken set meal, they also have a snack set (spaghetti, sandwiches etc.), and the babyback ribs set meal (this one is really good!!! I prefer to eat this at home so I can use my hands ). I recall my brother & I shared a piece of ribs before^^. This is our favorite because its so tasty, more rice please!. It's another good dining experience. Cherrie didn't eat her muffin so I took it and brought it with me along the way.

Half-day! Grrr!!!..

I woke up this morning kinda late around 7am and I need to be at the office before 8:10 am. Too lazy do go to work... the weather makes me lazy. Raining all night! and you know the feeling you just wanna stay in bed and sleep..zzz

No choice I went to work only to find out that we'll be dismissed early! Grumbling to myself...하!하! anyway, its ok at least I earned this day. ㅋ

Anyway, my Korean student had a cool dictionary IRiver something, it has MP3 and all the works. Here she's modelling her dictionary (isn't she adorable!^^). Am I a good photographer?... Well, I just love my celphone! I can take photos anytime and upload it on my PC.

My Girl (마이걸) Korean drama is being shown in Ch.2 (ABS-CBN), enjoying highest rating on primetime TV dramas. The Korean star of the show graced Wowowee! Philippine noontime variety show. Fans of the said series waited patiently to catch a glimpse & take photos of their new "Korean Hearthrob."

Food Review: Tapa King restaurant

My friend and I always frequent this place. The place is situated in the heart of Quezon City. Very convenient and its near my place. And our workplace is also near here.

Tapa King specializes in Filipino home made dried beef and pork which we call tapa. Thus, the restaurant's name is Tapa King. They usually serve the beef or pork with garlic fried rice and home made pickled side dish which we call achara (made from grated papaya, preserved in vinegar with grated carrots, raisins and red/green bell pepper).

But that's not all they also serve other Pinoy favorites merienda(snack) like palabok, champorado (chocolate rice porridge serve with small dried fish, similar to anchovies). I love their spaghetti, cooked Filipino style (sweet taste). This time I ordered their chocolate cake (which really looks tempting). It has a caramel sauce in between. My friend and I had a good dinner.

My Cousin's Wedding

Last Sunday we attended my cousin's wedding. My aunt is the godmother of my cousin. I wore a red top and black slacks. The motiff was pink. We're all happy that my cousin finally decided to settle down. She's already 30+ yrs. old.

We work in an English center for Koreans. During bad weather, whether it be raining cats and dogs. We're required to go to school. Brave the weather!

We went to school even if the Department of Education declared "no classes" in all levels. We have our own world.

New students

Today, we were introduced to our new students. All kids. I took a photo of T.Peach's student and of course I also included my student. They're really cute^^... (my other student, she's an adorable little girl wasn't included, because she'll start tomorrow). Again, I'm not included...I'm just the photographer...^^

My schedule is almost full, only 2 more vacant slots. Peak season is near!...

Anyway, tomorrow I'll start teaching in another room. Near our TOEIC room. Much better... 2nd floor, near the head teacher's office and also, main office.I'm gonna miss my old room, but its ok, coz' I'm able to see my previous room. Before I was in Room2 (became room 3, because of the additional room) and then moved to room 10 downstairs, and now room 17). I need to decorate again my new room!.. a little hassle... anyway, I'll just smile... and enjoy!^^

Salary day today! My co-teachers (friends) and I went to the Ever mall near our school. I bought personal things and also, I bought some food to bring home to my aunt. I told her that I'll pay the remaining balance of my cellphone next payday. I also bought Discovery Channel's cracking the DaVinci code. I think its an interesting documentary. Also, I bought a sketch pad. During my free time I love to sketch. After I finish my career course in English, I plan take up designing. Also, I need to update my religious blog. See the link on the right side. The Korean students from my village Don Enrique Heights have a pool party tonight. Our co-teacher Lot invited me but I'm not interested... not my way of enjoying. I'm not fond of that, going to bars and discos, smoking, heavy drinking. You can say, my life is boring but hey! I love good clean fun! This is me! Any violent or negative comments out there? Mind your own business!
I'll watch Kim Sam Soon and Dae Jang Geum later. Great drama and what a great way to close the week. Another hectic week next Monday! I'm the substitute teacher of broken Jin. So, I didn't have free time today. Last period was music class!

Today's a good day! I'm talking about the weather. Its much better than yesterday. Its cooler coz' the sky was cloudy the and it rained the whole day. Jin, he's the Korean student who fractured his arm borrowed my cassette tape (Christian Bautista). He was pushed by the crowd before who was following Christian Bautista, the incident happened in SM North. We were also there, luckily we didn't experience any untoward incident. Cherrie's student, Cindy was surprised when she found out that Jin wasn't my student and she asked me why does he know me? Jin, always calls me big eyes and I called him broken.
My other student named Milk was annoying, he's boring and I don't like it coz' he pinched me. John his boardmate is also strange, always imitating me, also we hit each other often. Jack their boardmate is always absent in his class time with me. Strange... I'm still wondering.

What a day!

My student, he's a kid named Kevin. He gave me a headache!!! I told his uncle about what he did this afternoon. He locked my room and we can't get in. So we didn't study today. I spent the whole 3o minutes looking for our helper in the school (he has the keys). I don't have any duplicate key. Luckily, my student of mine, university student volunteered to climb and open the door from the inside. He was able to open my door. I dismissed my student at an earlier time. I can't teach him after what happened. After that I talked to his uncle a pastor & he's ok. He told me to have more patience with his nephew.

With My Favorite Singer

Yesterday, Daphne, Cherrie and I went to SM North Edsa. We want to watch our favorite singer perform live. Also, we want to have hs autograph & we want to have a picture with him. It's a hot Saturday afternoon, anyway, everything went fine. We even saw our Korean employer, with his wife. We said hello to them.
The show went well. Cherrie didn't join us. She doesn't like him that much. She just bought a Guess watch. And were able to get his autograph and we had a picture with him.

I cancelled the plan yesterday with my other Korean students. Milk (우유). We should treat him because we asked him to download Korean songs for us. And honestly, I don't feel like hanging around with their group. Not like the previous batch of university students. We really became close with them.(Cas, Colin, Eric, Sophie etc.,). They're the extras in Sandara Park's launching movie "Can This Be Love?"

Back for good!^^

Ok! I haven't updated this blog for months... and now I'm back!!! My aunt (the one I'm living with) I call her Mama Nitz. She's really generous coz' she bought a CPU for me and she bought a mobile phone for me last year. (Quite a cool phone with video, MP3, bluetooth and all the works). I'm happy and I thank God for everything! always...

Boring Monday T.T

We have no class today. Our language school decided to postpone the class this Monday because of the State of the Nation Address of our Philippine President. (SONA) There is a rally outside so its advisable to just stay at home and avoid the danger. Yikes!
Yesterday, I just stayed home...

A Favor

One of my students.. is kinda strange. He asked me to give him a present.. and that's by doing him a favor of going out with him next week. He said that he wants us to watch a movie together... He'll even ask the permission of our boss, so I'll be able to finish my work early... Dunno know why? I just think it's funny...~

Note: I ask him today if we my friend can come with us. I will bring my friend Cherrie coz' I'm not comfortable in going out with him alone.

Wow! I can't believe that I'm writing again... I have another blog, but its intended for my spiritual moments. This one, I can say is also a part of the human me.
I decided to close this blog but all the memories here would be forgotten... So, now I decided to continue writing since I have so many things on my mind and heart. Why did I change the link?... Privacy is important... and because I have a personal reason.
