New Year, Just Live, Smile, and Love

I was thinking of the proper title to put here. I'm turning this personal blog into a public blog, which is the usual for most blogs, meant to be read by the public. Well, only a few people or maybe, you can really count by your fingers, those who had the chance to access this blog of mine. You can say now, you can read my 'heart's musings. Like the comment of my churchmate, he says that I'm always an 'emo' person. Well, maybe, the 'feeling' thing is really the dominant trait in my personality. Hello, Myers-Briggs personality test again! Leaving that aside, let's just say I am a person that has a high emotional quotient, I'm more in-tuned with my feelings. Looking inward an introvert.

Enough of that explanation. So this is the second day of January 2014. I'm really looking forward to a lot of things, and of course I'm expecting that I will make new friends this year. And my plans, will push through with the help of some people. By the way, I want to share an artwork of mine, showing a cartoon 'me', welcoming 2014. Yup, I like to draw, to those who knew me, I almost took up Fine Arts wayback in College but chose a 'Science' course instead. So, I'm just re-awakening this passion of mine.

Like what I have written in my spiritual/religious blog. I can say that we all have problems, hardships in life and tough times are inevitable. Rich or poor, class A, B and C people. Life like's that. It's just a matter of perspective. Like the lesson that I've learned in a Japanese movie, Midnight Sun, where the protagonist has a rare kind of disease, they call it XP, where exposure to the sun can actually endanger them and can also kill them. She said that she will continue to live her life, until the day she dies. If we think of our problems, and worry over it, what good does it do to us? Will it be solved immediately? We're just putting a lot of burden on ourselves. Like in the bible, Jesus said, "Why worry for tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself" (Matthew 6:34). Our Master have taught us that, so who else should we trust and believe? Echoing what the Apostle Peter, "To whom shall we go?"

In closing, let us be thankful for we were able to behold a New Year. Some people may be pessimist
about looking forward to a New Year, like what's there to look forward to? But for me, everyday is a promise of hope from GOD, not only a promise, but also a gift. Let us be thankful for every tomorrows. And this new year just continue living life, enjoy and never be afraid to love. We may have experienced of getting hurt in the past but, don't lock your heart. To love is to be vulnerable like what C.S Lewis have said. If you have never really loved at all, or have taken the risk to fall in love, then you certainly don't know how it feels to be human.

Love is for the brave and courageous.

(Below is my cover version of a song about LOVE, with an excpert on 1 Corinthians 13. The song speaks about love, that it is not like a thing that you replace if its not in fashion anymore. It is also about a person telling someone to not doubt her love for him because it is genuine love. That even if they grow old, physical appearance change, she will still love him, unconditionally. Forgiving that other person even if he did a wrong thing or hurt you. That is what true love is all about.).

Pag- Ibig

Ang pag-ibig, hindi parang cellphone
'pag naluma, papalitan
Ang pag-ibig, hindi parang damit
'pag may bagong uso, papalitan

'pag pinagsawaan, pamimigay nalang
Ang pag-ibig, hindi parang pusa
pag maingay, ililigaw nalang

Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it
does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude
It is a not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it
keeps no record of wrongs
Love does not delight in evil, but rejoices with the
truth
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes and
always perseveres.

Song of the Moment: This Time

I saw this Korean music video posted on a social site by my office mate.Good thing I checked out the video! I cried while watching. The video was really touching, and I can relate to the feelings shown in this video. What I like about this video is that it is presented in a unique way, sort of animation and comics strip style. The story line is also cute! It is a fantasy too. The story is a about a designer who owns a mannequin and then the mannequin became alive.

I really like this song because the meaning of the song is really beautiful. Eventhough we've been hurt before, I know we can love again and trust someone who will love us truly, and stick with us through the good and bad.

Here are some of my fave shots from the MV.

Here's the English translation:

This Time

I promised myself that I will never fall in love again. I pledged this words in my heart.
Looking back at the memories I sealed.
Now I have broken my promise.
I let go of all the pain and tears.

The moment that I first saw your eyes.
Your smile lifted my courage.
As I rest on your shoulder, my heart feels warm.
I want to be with you forever.

Maybe this time it's different, my love.
I can trust you with my heart.
You and I, this feeling and passion,
will never change in this timeless world.

I hope we can remember this.
I love you baby, and I need you baby.
Without you I will forever drown in tears of sorrow.
Please don't change everything,
I will be the same.

I sincerely trust and love you but,
my confidence fades without you.
As the night shadows me,
and the day lights up.

If I do not see you,
I might cry again.
The days of sorrow and sadness,
shadow me.

I have tried very hard to avoid,
men breaking my heart.
I hope you will not be part of
sorrowful memories.

Open your heart,
hug me with love, forever. Baby.

You are the one and my last hope.
If I live in a world without you.
Darkness will fall and tears shed.
Please take care of my heart, my love.

Movie: Safety Not Guaranteed

I have seen a lot of good movies recently through the recommendation of Mr. Kartoonista. From classics like the 1980's movie - Aeroplane, to Shakespeare's period (Shakespeare in Love), Pride and Prejudice and contemporary -- we both like You've Got Mail.  (Trivia: Pride and Prejudice was Kathleen's (Meg Ryan) favorite book here). In one of our conversations (online). He mentioned this movie to me. At first I was not really impressed with the trailer, its like my mind can't connect with what's being shown. But then again that night, since he wants to 'get' that movie, I became curious. So, I watched it online. Even if it was quite late, I was really hooked and I didn't fell asleep. The movie gave me goosebumps and it gave me a 'nice' feeling. I just love it! Well, maybe I'm just reminded of the lead female character of myself. There are times when you feel like you just don't belong to a certain crowd, but you try to be and then you find someone who's 'interesting' and somehow you connect with each other. It's like a 'soul mate' sorta' thing. It's like you 'clicked' with someone.

Have you ever experienced something like that? Like  you've felt a connection with a certain person? Someone whom you feel comfortable with and you can talk for hours about anything under the sun, and never get tired of it? I somehow can relate to this movie again. (Talk about 'feelings' as a dominant part of my personality, thanks to my favorite psychologist of all time, Dr. Carl Jung for making me know myself more). I have seen some comments in youtube and like the people who posted their comments there. We all really liked this movie. I also like the lead actress in the movie, Aubrey Plaza in real life (I've seen her interviews online) she's kinda awkward, 'spaced-out' sometimes and at the same time frank, and funny. I like her personality. Anyway here's the synopsis of the movie.

"From the producers of Little Miss Sunshine - When an unusual classified ad inspires three cynical Seattle magazine employees to look for the story behind it, they discover a mysterious eccentric named Kenneth, a likable but paranoid supermarket clerk, who believes he's solved the riddle of time travel and intends to depart again soon. Together, they embark on a hilarious, smart, and unexpectedly heartfelt journey that reveals how far believing can take you."

I also love the song from this movie. This is an 'all in one' movie, bit of drama, comedy and romance! Just perfect! If there's one movie who's made an impression on me this year this would be it. Believing in someone really makes a difference.

This is one of my fave quotes from the movie:

Kenneth: To go alone or to go with a partner? When you choose a partner, you have to have compromises and sacrifices, but it's a price you pay. Do I want to follow my every whim and desire as I make my way through time and space? Absolutely. But at the end of the day, do I need someone when I'm doubting myself and I'm insecure and MY heart fails me? Do I need someone, who when the heat gets hot, has my back?
Darius: Sooo... Do you?
Kenneth: I do.

Big Machine

Stand straight fall back in line
Comb your hair get to work on time
Everyone in the big machine
Tries to break your heart and pull you underneath

Maybe I’m wrong and all that you get is what you see
But maybe I’m right and there’s something out there to believe

Everybody’s talking in their sleep
They push a lot of air around but don’t say much of anything
Except when they're laughin' like some ghosts under a sheet
Everybody’s talking in their sleep

Watch out get back in line
They trip you up it happens every time
Weighed down it's just a big machine
That could break apart like anything

Song of the Moment: I'll Be Seeing You (Jo Stafford)

I'm not a stranger when it comes to 'songs from the past'. I have somewhat learned to like it. In fact I have my own classic favorites. I am familiar with classic songs because, I have rummaged before in my late aunt's collections of cassette tapes wayback. She has this original cassette of Patti Page's (best hits). The unforgettable song there was the 'cute' song, "How Much is That Doggie in the Window.?" (nice lil' puppy bark sound effect on the background as the song plays.) Maybe, you have not heard about the late Ms. Jo Stafford. For the younger netizens, here's a quick fact about her. From Wikipedia.

Jo Stafford, was an American traditional pop music singer and occasional actress whose career spanned five decades from the late 1930s to the early 1980s. Admired for the purity of her voice, she originally underwent classical training to become an opera singer before following a career in popular music, and by 1955 had achieved more worldwide record sales than any other female artist.

The song is entitled, "I'll Be Seeing You." When I listen to classic songs such as this. It just evokes a feeling of nostalgia, and still in some way it is kind of 'romantic' for me. (I just relate any old songs to thoughts and feelings of romance.) Anyway, each of us has a different understanding and definition of the word 'romantic'. This idea is just for myself. Anyway, without any further ado here's the video.

  I'll Be Seeing You

I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places
That this heart of mine embraces all day through

In that small café, the park across the way
The children's carousel, the chestnut trees
The wishing well

I'll be seeing you in every lovely summer's day
In everything that's light and gay
I'll always think of you that way
I'll find you in the mornin' sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you

I'll find you in the mornin' sun
And when the night is new
I'll be looking at the moon
But I'll be seeing you

Movie: Bright Star

I wanted to post something new, something 'brilliant'! Something like a 'bright star.!' After a long hiatus (almost 2 years) of not updating this blog. (due to personal reasons). Aside from the fact that a lot of things had happened in those 2 years, I am posting another entry. Surprising?!

I found this movie while I was searching for a free online streaming movie website. Based from the plot of the movie, I find it interesting. Why? Because, ever since I have somewhat enjoyed watching classic movies from Shirley Temple's, "Heidi" and "A Little Princess", Ingrid Bergman's, "Anastasia" and to Peter's Finch's, "Lost Horizon" movie among many others, so this movie seemed okay for me. True enough, I wasn't disappointed. Since, there's also a 'poet' hidden inside of me so that's why I've also liked the story.

The movie is about the English romantic poet John Keats and his short lived romance with Fanny
Brawne. I will not tell anything more about John Keats life story because I want you, dear readers of this blog of mine to watch the movie for yourselves. I also shared this movie to that special someone in my life now. (okay! okay! this is no time for me to be mushy). Anyway, if you want a classic movie, with poetry, drama and romance, then you better check-out this film!

A New Book

Time to open a new book in my life. Been so engrossed with the last novel that it drained too much in me. I have been so engrossed in that, that I've overlooked the other books in my life, books that are also interesting and one that holds a joy too! Life's too short to fill it with hatred and anger. We only have 1 life so let's love ourselves first. There's so much things to enjoy and dwell upon. Live the present and leave the past behind! Joie de Vivre! ♥

My New Digital Camera

I was able to buy a new digital camera today. I bought this at Wellcom in Ever Gotesco Commonwealth. I was planning to buy a Kingcom camera but I found out that its not that good. My aunt (recently came back from Malawi, S.Africa) suggested that I buy this instead of the other camera. Its a good brand so its ok. Plus, I like the color turquoise blue. I also got a discount because I've got a membership card, I also got a free coffeemaker. The price is 7,014 and I paid only 6,000+. Nice!

Winter Sonata

Yup, I've changed my blog "welcome" design. Since, Winter Sonata was my 1st fave Korean drama I've decided to use one of the photo and I've added a Korean quote. The meaning of that quote is "There is no remedy for love but to love more..."
Life goes on and on...

Song of the moment: 별 "Star"

I just saw the mtv of this song tonight (sang by:Kim Ah Joong)... got intrigued by this song.. like the stars in the sky everything is connected.. Polaris, a constellation that's not changing... I'll never forget that quote.. and then I've found a "star".

I can relate to this song... and I can't help but be teary-eyed.. really touching!..
It's from the Korean movie 200 pounds beauty. This was sang by 유미.

Here's the English translation. I got this in another website.

Star

The wind is shaking the windows and over my small room
the stars fill up the sky, shining brightly too many to count,
the stars reassure the tired me.
They wipe away the man tears that are deep inside me.

Don'y be hurt too much.. they hug me tight and pamper me
and comfort me, telling me to sleep.

Though I'm exhausted to the point where I can't walk,
though my tears blur my vision.
I'll still smile in front of my love, that I'm not able to get.

Eventhough our happy times were short, I'll treasure it deep inside my heart..
like those countless number of stars, forever...

A Poem

I made this poem wayback 2005... for someone I don't know..

Still Thinking of You
I stare at the night sky
Sayin' a prayer
and a wish at the moment
Thinking of you...
I stare at the blue sky,
peace and calmness.
Thinking of you...
Still, a part of me
feels incomplete.
Wishing you would fill it.
Still...
Thinking of you..

Phantom of the Opera

I've changed the banner of this blog. I don't know but really The Phantom of the Opera, really sinks into me. Its been 2 days now and I'm still listening to one of its songs - All I Ask of You by: Barbara Streisand. I think everyone is familiar with The Phantom... If could change the ending I would've chosen The Phantom for Christine and not Raoul. Why? Because, The Phantom has always been there for her. Because of The Phantom her dreams came true. He took care of Christine and he watched over her... also, even letting go of Christine he did that. Talk about true love and sacrifice. Yes, I want someone like The Phantom. Who will always be there for me. Someone who I can love and help and who can love and help me too!
Love me, that's all I ask of you... @

Song of the moment: All I Ask of You

All I Ask of You@
No more talk of darkness,
forget these wide eyed fears,
I’m here, nothing can harm you,
My words will warm and calm you,
Let me be your freedom,
let daylight dry your tears,
I’m here, with you, beside you,
To guard you and to guide you
Then say you love me every winter morning,
Turn my head with talk of summertime,
Say you need me with you now and always,
Promise me, that all you say is true,
That’s all I ask of you.
Let me be your shelter,
let me be your light,
You’re safe,
no one will find you,
Your fears are far behind you.
All we need is freedom,
a world that’s warm and bright
And you, always beside me,
To hold me and to hide me.
Say you’ll share with me one love,
one lifetime,
Let me lead you from your solitude,
Say you need me with you here beside you,
Anywhere, you go let me go too
That’s all I ask of you
Say the word and I will follow you
Share each day with me each night each morning
Say you feel the way I do
That’s all I ask of you
Anywhere you go let me go too
Love me, that’s all I ask of you

A Walk to Remember

I've just finished reading, Nicholas Sparks - A Walk to Remember. I saw the movie before and I really cried a lot. I'm really an emotional person... even in the Disney's animation before - Pocahontas, I also cried. The movie's story is a little different from the book. There's no stargazing and there's no hard bullying, (remember the scene where they made fun of Jamie's photo). Also, in the book the they spent a lot of time in the orphanage. But in the movie its just for a short time. The movie of course was kinda musical. I love the OST and as you can see I posted earlier a song from the movie. If You Believe.
--
Some of my favorite lines from the movie:
Jamie: Landon, look I thought I saw something in you, something good but I was very wrong.
Jamie: So why am I looking for this star?
Langdon: Because, I had it named for you!
Jamie: You know what I figured out today?
Langdon: what?
Jamie: Maybe, God has a bigger plan for me than I have for myself... Like this journey never ends, Like you were sent to me because I am sick...to help me through all this.. You're my angel!
Langdon: Do you love me? Will you do something for me then?
Jamie: anything
Langdon: Will you marry me?
Langdon: I'm sorry she never got her miracle..
Reverend Sullivan: she did! it was you!
Langdon: Jamie, saved my life, she thought me everything, about life, hope & the long journey ahead, I'll always miss her. But our love is like the wind, I can't see it but I can feel it.

Song of the Moment: If You Believe

If You Believe
(OST: A Walk to Remember)

I close my eyes,
And even when I'm sleeping
I'm alright,
'Cause You are in my life.

Once upon a time,
I only imagined this
And now You're mine.
Wished for you so hard.
Prayed that You'd find me;
Baby you're here today,
Here to remind me:

If you believe that dreams come true,
There's One that's waiting there for you.
'Cause I believed when I saw You
That when you want something enough,
That it can't escape Your love.
There is nothing in the world that cannot be...If you believe, oh oh...

Everybody said
That I was a fool to think
That we could be;
(Everybody said that...)

That I couldn't get my heart out of my head
But they just didn't see;
No, they just could not have
The feeling that You give,
The places that You go...

If you believe that dreams come true,
There's One that's waiting there for you.
'Cause I believed when I saw You
That when you want something enough,
That it can't escape Your love.
There is nothing in the world that cannot be...
If you believe.

Never wished for material things;
Never needed wind in my wings.
I never wished for anything but You...oh!
I can't explain it,
Someone just told me,
"Go where your heart is,
You'll never be lonely."

If you believe that dreams come true,
There's One that's waiting there for you.
'Cause I believed when I saw You
That (when you believe) when
You want Someone enough,
Then they can't escape Your love.
There is nothing in the world that cannot be,
If you believe.Believe, believe, believe, ooh...

Song of the Moment: Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka

One of my favorite OPM. Just a wishful thinking...

Pangarap Ko Ang Ibigin Ka(sang by: Regine Velasquez & Ogie Alcasid)
Tuwing ikaw ay nariyan
Sabay kong nadarama ang kaba at ligaya
Ang 'yong tinig wari ko'y di marinig
'Pagkat namamangha 'pag kausap ka

Kaya nais kong malaman mo

Akong makapiling at ibigin

My Christmas Wish List

Yes, I've got a Christmas Wish List too! It's not that difficult to obtain... I just made it because its nice to have a list for Christmas! ha!ha! My birthday is near and maybe I'll buy these things in advance... Yeah... its just material things... at the back of my mind the one I'm really wishing for cannot be bought... (*sigh*)
It's the Season of Smiles...

Simple Gathering with my cousin and my niece and nephews

Last Sunday, I, my mom and my 2 aunt's went to Max's restaurant in Ever. We had a simple farewell party for my cousin (he's on the right side wearing a blue polo shirt). He's kinda really, really older than me. Actually his sons and daughter are more closer to my age. Their ages range from 15-18. They're going to migrate to the U.S. Anyway, I gave my niece a pretty necklace. She's on the left side wearing a yellow shirt. My niece & nephews are pretty and handsome... they all got chinky eyes! Meet them on friendster. ha!ha! Their older brother (another nephew of mine) is already in the the U.S and he's already working.

Another...

Another day with my student Monica. We are having one on one class. I don't teach group class. Monica can play the recorder very well. She played Arirang, Lovers in Paris OST, The Classic OST etc. A lot of teachers went to my room and they all watched and listened to her.
Yesterday, we're not suppose to have a class. But since our school is different from other schools, we still held a class. There's a strong typhoon now! Thank God it didn't pass Manila. We have no class now. Next week.. it's my week...

With My Nephew

Yesterday, I went out with my nephew and I bought him a new rubber shoes (Garfield) and Power Rangers slippers. We dined at Jollibee and he played at the mini-arcade inside the mall. I have not seen him for a couple of months and it's good that I bonded with him yesterday.

The Return...

*yawn* It's only 10 am but I feel sleepy... ha!ha! - IMy student last 2004 came back! I won't forget him because he's the kid who enrolled twice in my class... It's really touching to know that he still wants me to be his teacher, he told his mom that it's a promise...(Cherrie told me about this since she was able to talk with Sam's mom). And he's such a cute kid! He looks like the male counterpart of Sandara Park, a famous Korean star here in the Philippines. And most of the teachers here adores him! They're again residing in BF homes. I've also changed my name now... so the teachers are confused! Some calls me Diana others Leah... anyway, I need to finish this syllabus... busy me!...

Food.. here, there and everywhere...

I've just uploaded the photos now... a little busy... of course, I still have time to post this. I need to finish our group report tomorrow or my co-teachers will hunt me if I don't!!! oh! I'm afraid... ha!ha! I just like the song here, there and everywhere, that's why I used it as a title of this entry.

My CREATIVE Muvo V200

We have no work today... I went to the mall (SM North) with my mom and my 2 aunts. We dined at an Italian restaurant (Chef Donatello) and after that I went to Cyberzone (lots of gadgets and computer shop). I bought an MP3. Yikes! It cost a lot! 2,999 pesos (almost 3000 just add 1 peso). I've learned about this brand through my brother. He's the expert when it comes to hi-tech stuffs... I just bought this because maybe it's good since its "Creative". I'm a music lover so it's a "must" thing for me.
(Photos: My reliable PC... beside it... my new "it" thing - CREATIVE Muvo V200 and me with my Muvo!ㅋ)

Song of the Moment: That Thing You Do

That Thing You Do

You,Doin' that thing you do,
Breaking my heart into a million pieces,
Like you always do

And you,
Don't mean to be cruel,
You never even knew about the heartache,
I've been going through
Well I try and try to forget you girl
But it's just so hard to do,
Every time you do that thing you do

I,Know all the games you play,
And I'm gonna find a way to let you know that,
You'll be mine someday

'Cause we,
Could be happy can't you see,
If you'd only let me be the one to hold you,
And keep you here with me

'Cause I try and try to forget you girl,
But it's just so hard to do,
Every time you do that thing you do

I don't ask a lot girl,
But I know one thing's for sure,
It's the love I haven't got girl,
And I just can't take it anymore

'Cause we,
Could be happy can't you see,
If you'd only let me be the one to hold you,
And keep you here with me
Cause it hurts me so just to see you go,
Around with someone new,
And if I know you you're doin' that thing,
Every day just doin' that thing,
I can't take you doing that thing you do

Feeling Like A Photographer

My new roommates with hakseng Ricky. Souvenir photo. Last day of their student. Just finished emailing the photo! I'm waiting for Cherrie's digicam. Anyway, this camphone of mine is still useful!

Korean movie fanatics

Yes, that's T.Melany with her DVD's. I borrowed her 8-in-1 DVD. I saw Choi Ji Woo's, Yeonriji and Marrying School Girl, starring the cute Im Eun-Kyoung. I'm too lazy to watch all the 8 movies. So I chose only two. A romantic-drama and a comedy. Really extremes. Although, nothing can still compare with The Classic, Il Mare, and My Sassy Girl. Of course, those 3 movies are my favorite!

What a way to splurge!

I'm not selling anything. I'm just showcasing the stuffs that I bought recently. I'm not really a "shopaholic" person but my friend Cherrie told me that I shouldn't hesitate to buy something if it's for myself. Yup! she's right! We should pamper ourselves from time to time! ha!ha! It only shows that now I love myself more! (nope! I'm not becoming narcissistic). Quite expensive but its ok! I bought a FILA bag and a Disneyland character watch. (I kept the seal of authenticity. Yup, it's 100% genuine). Cherrie (Winnie the Pooh watch) and Daphne (Mickey & Minnie) also bought a watch. More lovely and original watches in SM North. A little kiddy design but its ok! We're all young at heart. Yes, we're now known as the Powerwatch girls of Global. ; )

A Cinderella Story

Fairy tales do come true... It can happen to you if you're young at heart... Yes, as the song goes... This movie is definitely "charming". I just saw it today! And truly a "modern day Cinderella" story. Well, some might say this movie is too childish! But you can get some lessons from it too!
Being truthful and never be afraid of letting someone know who you really are. Fighting for what you believe and believing in your dreams! And if things can go wrong don't give up! There's still hope as long as you're alive.
Got a nice soundtrack too! I'll be your crying shoulder, I'll be love's suicide... I'll be better when I'm older.. I'll be the greatest fan of your life.
Yeah! I'm still young at heart... we all have our own fairytales. One day it will come true!

Prayer through song

I've found a beautiful and touching song... I'm not that perfect... I've many lackings... especially in terms of my spirituality. This songs best describes what I wanna say. I express myself better through songs. We have our own beliefs and this is mine. I'm proud to be a Christian (Catholic).

Take Me Out of the Dark
(sang by: Gary Valenciano)

Just what is it in me?
Sometimes I just don't know
What keeps me in Your love,
Why you never let me go

And though you're in me now,
I fall and hurt you still
My Lord, please show me how
To know just how you feel

You have forgiven me
Too many times it seems
I feel I'm not what you might call
A worthy Christian after all

And though I love You so
Temptation finds its way to me

Teach me to trust in You
With all my heart
To lean not on my own understanding
I just forget
You won't give me what I can't bear
Take me out of the dark, my Lord
I don't wanna be there

You've never left my side
You gave Your hand to me to hold
Lord Jesus, I'm no longer in the cold
And yet, I leave You there
When I feel satisfied

I'd like to thank You every day
Not only when I feel that way
I've never known a Man
Who'd give His life for sinners like me

And yet, because He loves us so
He's promised us eternity
And we can have that promise
And be His if we have faith
And just believe

Teach us to trust in you
With all my heart
To lean not on my own understanding
We just forget
You won't give us what we can't bear
Take us out of the dark, My Lord
'Cause we don't want to be alone
Take me out of the dark, My Lord
We don't wanna be there, My Lord

Trust in You with all my heart
Lean not on my own understanding
I just forget
You won't give me what I can't bear
Take me out of the dark, My Lord
Cause we don't want to be alone
Take me out of the dark, My Lord
I don't want to be there

Love So Divine

I borrowed T.Izza's dvd -- Korean movie "Love So Divine." Starring 권상우 in the lead role. The movie is about a seminarian who got attracted to someone. So the dilemma in this movie will he continue with his religious vocation or choose the other way.
I'm a Catholic, in my opinion priesthood and religious life is also a serious matter. Because it will be God whom you will be serving and be united with. So there should be no hesitations, no if's and but's here. Just like married life, religious life should be taken seriously. Well, all of us, we have our own vocations. I don't wanna sound like a preacher here. Anyway, I need to watch that movie so that I can further criticize it.

New Room

Room 7... that's my room assignment now. Yeah, there's a window... then a veranda... So here's the shots. Cute CARE BEARS, inside my room... and the former occupant of the room was T.Arieta. So there's a paper origami design.

And finally, I went to the salon yesterday. T.Daphne accompanied me. So after 2 hours of waiting, got my new hair color and hot oil treatment. It's ok to pamper myself once in awhile.

Monday blues

Yup, its Monday again! And... back to work again... Oh! my! I've got good greetings from my fellow co-teachers. And of course, because I wore colored contact lenses this time... got good reviews about that. Well... except for my buddy... she said that its ugly and that I should color my hair for it to complement the color of my eyes (its green). Actually, I don't like that color... but they don't have hazel brown so I chose the green one... I think gray is much better coz' I wore that before. Anyway, I moved in another room. (room 7). It's ok. No rug -- I don't like carpeted place coz' it can trigger allergies. I bought all my roommates, drinks... 'Sola' iced tea. They are teasing me to treat them.. So I did! Anyway, they're all ok. So its fine with me. Maybe, tomorrow I'll color my hair... maybe...
I'll post the photos tomorrow... I forgot to send the photos from my mobile phone... too lazy to go upstairs...

Back To You...

Well, this song's been running on my mind lately... back to you It always comes around back to you... still life goes on and on... I've had my vacation leave... got sick with the flu... But this week I'll go back to work after a 2 week vacation... happy because of my fellow teachers and former students comment on our school's website.

I was like a kid again... enjoyed watching cartoons... ha!ha! not bad...we're all young at heart! One of my fave cartoon now is CHALKZONE. Everything that the lead character draws it becomes real in the "chalk world." And I like the blue character that he created. So cool!

I also like Mr.Bean without even trying hard, he's so funny! You love him and you hate him at the same time!!!

And the return of Wonder Woman, wow! Lynda Carter's really beautiful!!! I like this show. (even if its old). Other shows that I like...
