I Still Believe in Love (from the musical: They're Playing Our Song)

Sypnosis: In They're Playing Our Song, Adrian Pang and alternate Michael Lee plays a successful but harassed composer in need of a lyricist, and Lea Salonga, Sonia, a wacky, neurotic wordsmith. Their relationship is anything but harmonious, but they do make beautiful music together!
Written by Neil Simon (The Odd Couple, Barefoot in the Park, The Goodbye Girl), it's The Odd Couple set to music. Marvin Hamlisch (A Chorus Line) composes the music, with lyrics by Carol Bayer Sager. This witty comedy is set to a delightful score, which will be performed by a 12-piece `live' orchestra. The original Broadway and West End productions featured spectacular sets incorporating video, special effects and animation and the Singapore staging will be equally impressive. (source:SISTIC.com)
------------
I also listen to Broadway music. My favorites are Miss Saigon, Les Miserables, Phantom of the Opera etc. Here's a beautiful song which I can relate to. After all, I still believe in love...

~I Still Believe in Love~

After all the tears I’ve cried
You’d think I would give up on love
Get off this line
But maybe I might get it right this time

I was there as passion turned to pain
Sunshine turned to rainy days
Yet here I am
Ready to begin once again

All my life I’ve been a dreamer
Dreamin’ dreams that always broke in two
But I still believe in love
And I love believing
Maybe you can make my dreams come true

Here content with who I am
I’m reachin’ out my hand to him
Once again
At least I know I’ve made myself a friend

*All my life I’ve been a dreamer
Dreamin’ dreams that never quite came true
But I still believe in love
And I love believing
I’ll keep on dreaming
Because I still believe in love

I still believe in love
And me...And you
I still believe in love...
