My Favorite Pens

I love to write and draw. This year I purchased a calligraphy pen set, from a local arts and crafts store, and a beautiful glass pen. I believe that each of us has our own favorite writing instrument.

Growing up, I'm not that particular with the pens that I use in school or at home. I often use Panda ballpen because it is available anywhere, and its very cheap. I also tried using Pilot pens, they cost more than Panda ballpen, writes smoothly, but what I don't like about them is when you drop them they blot. I also tried expensive ballpens because my aunt had a few (Cross and Parker pens). Good quality, and it also writes smoothly but because of the metal casing its a bit heavy to hold. Up to now I still use Parker pen. I rarely use Panda ballpen now. For affordable ballpoint pens, I prefer Titus pens. They have this nice neon colors. I like their sky blue colored pen. It also writes smoothly.

When it comes to drawing, I have tried a lot of drawing pens and waterproof pens (Zig, and Faber-Castell). But my most favorite is Uni pens. I just like the simple design of the pen. The outer color of the pen is black. It is also waterproof, and you can erase the pencil markings without worrying if it will smudge (like in my experience using other waterproof pens) because the ink dries fast. I also love the way how it glides smoothly in my mini-Moleskine sketchbook. Even if the ink color is not that dark, it works just fine for me. I recently bought a set of UNI fine liner. The set contains 9 pens in different pen points. The set is a bit expensive but its worth it. For drawing and rendering.
